Identify anchors, powered parts, loose hardware, and oversized sections before the frame comes apart. Start with the object, then follow its complete path to the truck.
Photograph the assembled frame first
Take wide photos of the bed and close photos of joints, brackets, and anchors. The images help explain whether the frame is freestanding, wall-mounted, powered, or built into the room.
Separate ordinary hardware
Place bolts, brackets, and small fittings in a sturdy container. Keep tools, personal items, and anything that must stay out of the removal zone. Do not force a joint that is bent, powered, or attached to the building.
Flag materials that change handling
Mirrored panels, glass, stone, damaged particleboard, sharp metal, and heavy solid wood should be disclosed before the visit. These details affect crew, equipment, and packing.
